The traditional breed meat marketing scheme has total traceability of all the stock of traditional breeds supplied to Accredited Butchers. This means that there is an integrity that other suppliers cannot offer. Every carcass supplied
has a certificate identifying the individual animal and, if you are in doubt, you should ask to see this. Only the butchers accredited by the Rare Breed Survival Trust can provide these.
All of our meat is from animals bred and raised locally on British farms with total traceability. They are fed naturally with no artificial growth promoters, and are farmed non-intensively in high welfare conditions.
